What a great, fun and different day! I highly recommend this tour as we could of not have enjoyed it more. The guide went out of his way to make sure I was comfortable and went above and beyond pointing our important sights during our drive to the horse stables. When we got to meet the horses, we were surprised to see how well taken care. They made us engage with them, brushing them and teaching us of how to properly handle a horse and I loved it! After a great riding training, we enjoyed our ride through trails inside the woods and amazing views of the mountains and all Barcelona. We had some typical tasty Spanish food and headed to a typical family owned vineyard. I thought Id be husttle, but truth is we were never rushed and the ride there was smooth and very comforting. The wine was delicious and the people of the winery just as friendly as everyone else during the day. We really felt extremely taken care of and were so grateful for everyone being so nice, explanatory and patient with us answering any question, helping us with everything, sharing all their knowledge of the culture, our surroundings, the horses, the food and whatnot.
We could of not have asked for a better experience and a better care! This is an experience well cherish for many years to come! Thank you!
We had six people on our tour and we were in a comfortable mini van. Our tour guide Barbara had an incredible wealth of knowledge on the history of the winery and the horses that we rode. She was a great guide and really made this tour the highlight of our time in Spain.
We drank good wines, ate wonderful tapas, and had guides that were knowledgable, caring, and added a whole other level of fun and laughter.
About the ride on the morning, I have to say that was execellent, the horse are really well trained and look healthy. The ride was enjoyable and the winery wonderful. Nice tour 🙂
Our personal guide was delightful. . My family was treated royally. They learned the history of the Spanish horse he was to ride, took part in preparing for the experience by grooming the horse and fitting saddle to horse. The instructor prepared them by training in the “ring”. Then they went on the riding tour. They were tired and hungry when they returned to the stable area where the option of cooling down the horse was available. Then we were treated to a delightful light lunch by the guide from “Living It”. The pictures the guide and the instructor took were edited and sent directly to my daughter in Utah. After the delicious lunch, we went to a family own winery in Penedes, the place was so amazing and the wine so good that we spend more than 50€ in that amazing wine.
I understand few people take advantage of this opportunity. More should. The personal attention and instruction are amazing. The location is awesome. We learned a lot about the riding school as well and the winery.
Our tour guide Alex was friendly the hole day.
I highly recommeded this experience
