Like a canvas where nature has intended to combine with exquisite delicacy the intense green of the pine groves, the massive steadfastness of the rocks, the softness of the golden sands and the deep, dazzling blue of the sea – that is the Costa Brava.
Leave Barcelona behind (8:30am) and head to a beautiful small village of whitewashed houses in Costa Brava. You will walk with your expert guide along the rocky coast following the historical “Camí de Ronda” path, where you will uncover the impressive pine forests next to the sea and the most beautiful natural bays of Costa Brava. These are spots only reachable on foot. Be ready to go through a holed rock, find fisherman shelters, Dali’s hut, sandy beaches (where important movies have been filmed) and rocky bays.
Do you rather do kayaking to find the magical coves of the coastal line? Tell us, and we will show you the way.
The tour continues in a Medieval village. Uncover the cobblestoned Gothic quarter, the city walls, the Gothic windows, the arches, the wells, the thresholds of the doors and a wide range of interesting nooks and crannies. It boasts one of the most important mediaeval quarters in Catalonia. This fortified town is protected by three walls and a moat, watched over by the castle and its keep.
We will return to Barcelona, arriving at 17:30h.

Cannot imagine a worse weather day to visit Costa Brava with heavy rain and flooded streets. Our guide Barbara and driver Jesus were nonetheless enthusiastic and informative and kept us entertained and safe. We visited 2 picturesque medieval villages and had a wonderful gourmet lunch in a local village restaurant. We even managed to see a Costa Brava beach (briefly because of high winds) in the afternoon.
Had a wonderful tour, I would call a sampler of Costa Brava! Our tour guide Jordi was informative, gracious and simply the best. We would definitely return but in September at the tail end of high season. Highly recommend.
